The letterbook of the U.S. Corvette St. Louis is the record of correspondence kept by the Corvette's commander, David N. Ingraham, while on duty in the Mediterranean. Most of the letters deal with disciplinary problems of his crew, but a portion of the collection also describes the "Martin Costa (Koszta) Affair."
